Terms of Service
Effective October 29, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Scroll Hope app and the website at scrollhope.com (together, “Scroll Hope”), made by Swift Fox Software (“we,” “us”). By using Scroll Hope, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
Using Scroll Hope
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Scroll Hope for your own non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse it: don’t interfere with how it works, try to get around its limits or security, scrape the website at a volume that burdens it, or use it to break the law.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the App Store rules allow. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app.
Your content
Notes, likes, and reading history are yours. They stay on your devices and in your own iCloud, and we can’t see them. You’re responsible for backing up anything you want to keep. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we do handle.
Sharing
Scroll Hope lets you make images, videos, and links of verses to share. You may share them freely. Please don’t present Scroll Hope’s name or icon in a way that suggests we endorse something we don’t.
Tips
Tips are optional, one-time in-app purchases that support development. They may unlock small extras, such as hiding the watermark on shared images, which we may change over time. Purchases are processed by Apple under the App Store’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, through reportaproblem.apple.com.
App Lock
App Lock uses Apple’s Screen Time tools to keep apps you choose locked until you’ve read for the day. It’s a personal habit tool. Don’t rely on it to restrict anyone else, and you can turn it off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Changes and availability
We may update, change, or stop offering any part of Scroll Hope at any time. We may update these terms; when we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and continuing to use Scroll Hope means you accept the new terms.
Disclaimer
Scroll Hope is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that synced data will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Swift Fox Software will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Scroll Hope. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$10 if you paid nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
